Beam

Description

Sculptures often say the sculpture is hidden inside, you just need to take away the material around it. Honestly when I started this project back in 2012 I had just a gut feeling of trying something and the thought of capturing the process. During 4 weeks I spent the extra hours, morning, midday, evening on the Beam. I didn’t have a clear plan but the aim was to make some sort of bench and while working on it the 3000 pictures made see what I did. It became an object symbolising connection between myself and the Beam as its shape does as people using it.
